Engineer - Floater, General Services

(Works on a Floating Schedule)


Reporting to the Chief Engineer and the Director of Engineering, this position will be responsible for maintaining various aspects of the mechanical operations for the Lincoln Center Campus which include but not limited to multi-use buildings, public areas, as well as the Central Mechanical Plant (CMP).  The Engineer will work a varied shift schedule to cover vacation and other scheduled absences, and will rotate across all campus locations.             


The position requires a refrigeration license and at least 5 years hands-on experience to include operating and maintenance of electric and steam chillers, steam systems, plumbing, hydronic pumping systems, fire alarm systems, as well as experience with braising. Candidates with EAP and/or FSD certifications, boiler and building management controls (BMC) experience preferred.

Lincoln Center is a 24x7 operation. The Engineer position is a full-time (40 hours per week) position and will rotate across all campus locations and all weekday/weekend shifts as scheduling requires.

The Engineer position is a union represented role and employees are required to join the Local 30 union after 30 days of employment.
