LINCOLN CENTER LOCAL
Lincoln Center Local (LCL), in partnership with your local library systems brings world-class, FREE programming to your neighborhood this July, August and September. The series offers live hour-long programs combining performance with a question and answer session in a dynamic, first-hand encounter with outstanding artists from a wide-range of disciplines. The series culminates in a special presentation live-streamed from Lincoln Center's campus.
How it works? In spring, library patrons and the public VOTE for the performances of their choice to appear at participating community libraries in the summer. What's more...the top-vote getting program has a FREE encore performance at the David Rubenstein Atrium at Lincoln Center. This special presentation is live-streamed to viewing parties at select community libraries. New this year, viewing parties will be held in both Queens and Brooklyn locations!
Are you buzzed for ballet? Open to opera? Longing for cultural music and family fun? Then please stop by one of the participating library venues for this summer's performing arts extravaganza!
